Redeeming Decent ETH

Occasionally, you might receive Decent ETH as the result of a swap. This is exceedingly rare - all swap outputs should be in a native token; however, you can follow the steps below to redeem your Decent ETH for ETH.
Please follow the example steps below for Base.
1). Identify the Decent ETH and Decent ETH Router contracts on the chain you want to execute the redemption
On Base, Decent ETH is deployed to 0x1572D48a52906B834FB236AA77831d669F6d87A1 and Decent ETH Router to 0x44b74Ee2695D6937dF20877D99A1a9609C48697d .
Visit these verified contracts on the chain's block explorer: Decent ETH ; Decent ETH Router .
2). Provide an approval for Decent ETH Router to spend your Decent ETH.
On the Decent ETH block explorer page:
- Go to the "Write Contract" tab and find the
approvefunction. - Connect your wallet to the block explorer.
- Enter the Decent ETH Router contract address as the
spender. - Enter your amount of Decent ETH as the amount. The amount must be in wei , the smallest denomination of Ether. We recommend this tool to convert from Ether to Wei (x10**18). In the example below, we are redeeming 1 ETH.
- Click "Write" and sign the token approval.
3). Redeem Decent ETH for ETH in the Decent ETH Router.
On the Decent ETH Router block explorer page:
- Go to the "Write Contract" tab and find the
redeemEthfunction. - Make sure your wallet is connected to the block explorer.
- Enter the amount of Decent ETH you approved in the last step.
- Click "Write" and sign the transaction.
That's it! You should now see ETH in your account. If you have any further questions, contact Decent for support.
